Digi Awards :)

Emily and I made an iMovie about teachers for Digi Awards. Here is the criteria for Movie Making.
Here is what we needed to do:

Movie Making: Make a movie that celebrates your everyday hero and holds the audience’s attention from beginning to end. Your movie, documentary, report, or digital story should be no more than 3 minutes and demonstrate excellent camera-work, editing, dialogue or narration, plus background music that enhance the story.

Emily and I made this video in at least 5 weeks so it was worth it and we hope you like it. Also Emily and I had also made a Pic Collage but we decided that we wanted to make an Imovie instead.
The most challenging thing for me was making sure everything was all made into the movie and no mistakes.
I learnt that you can put lots and lots of music into iMovie because before I only could have one song. I am so smart right :) Leave a comment if you knew how to do that before.
If I did it again I would have different music in the iMovie as we only used one song. I would've used more.

Facing The Mountain!

On Friday 28th of August the Year 4-8 students went on a ski trip to Mt Hutt.
My dad came skiing too but he went snowboarding. :)

At the ski trip I learnt that a lot of people can ski and snowboard in my class really well and it is really easy to fall over if you turn too hard and fast.

I learnt that I only fall over when I am standing up and not moving as opposed to when I am skiing. :)
Now that is really weird!

I found standing up was the hardest thing for me to do because I had no balance at all since people came and skied over my skis.

The funniest thing that happened was the bus breaking down and Emily, my Dad and I, had to take Logan and Asher up the mountain!

When we finally got home Dad and I looked at the footage on the go pro and all you can see is Dad crashing and him saying ouch ouch when he face planted in the snow:)

I think we are now going back to Mt Hutt this weekend. Maybe the family or just Dad and I!
