                                              Manual 

Yesterday ,on Thursday 23rd April, Rimu class went to their Manual Term at Lincoln Primary.This term I am in Workshop and my teacher is Mr Bowers .

When we arrived Mr Bowers us to sit down and draw some ideas for are sound sis tom  that we will be making. I am making a mustache box. After a while Mr Bowers showed us how to make a box so we could get used to making one with GLUE I know your probably thinking GLUE why glue why not nails? well the wood we are using is made from a factory so you can nor put nails into it other wise it will make a big crack in the wood !

So I had a great first day a Manual :) :)                                                   








         Textiles 

On Thursday 12th February was my first day at Manual. I was off the roof excited! Ideas were  rushing through my head as I was on the bus at 8:40 am . After we were drop off at Manual, we sat down looking up to Mrs Paterson to hear witch subject we were in this term.I was in Textiles for the term, the first thing we did in Textiles we were given some old see through bags to put write are name and school on then after that we were given a booklet to do the same thing on 

Manual - Week 2 Update 

                                                                                                            In our second session at Manual, I made a little pineapple pillow to sit on my bed in my room. it was fun to make but sometimes it got really hard because I all was keep getting tangled in the string .

After I had finished Mrs Paterson gave me a sheet to do on the sewing machine, I was really nerveous to use it because I  had never ever used one before but I got the hang of it after awhile.

Manual -Week 3 Update 

In our third session at Manual we are making coffee cup covers . Jorja and i are together to make are coffee cover I can not wait to finish it.

Manual 

today at manual we finished are coffee cops and ended making it for my dad  and it really cool.

It was really hard to make but i got it done in the last five seconds!!!!!!! 

And sad face because we only have 3 more weeks until i go onto the next subject I am quite nerves because we have to do a test on everything we know oh no !!!! so now i am working really hard to get all of it done on time.

But for now i am going to enjoy having a good time sewing .
